Read a student "story" about different party viewpoints on an increase in the minimum wage

The first Twitter assignment in Dr. Kassens' ECON 122 section involved explaining why different parties might take differing views on the proposal to increase the federal minimum wage. Students were asked to read an article in the New York Times by Gregory Mankiw and then answer a specific question.

Spring Economics Reading Group Interest Form

Are you a Roanoke College student and interested in discussing economic freedom? Join the Roanoke College Economics Reading Group! Last fall we read "Capitalism and Freedom" by Milton Friedman and were led in our discussion by Dr. Benne.

This semester we will read "Keynes Hayek: The Clash that Defined Modern Economics" by Nicholas Wapshott. More details about the activites for the reading group will be given as we get into the semester. Each student will be given a copy of the book prior spring break.
